Perfectly imperfect.

I’ve noticed so many people strive to be perfect. What really is perfect? God is perfect but we are not. I believe we can improve ourselves everyday. I tell my kids, practice makes better. I don’t want them to feel insecure about not being perfect. When we focus on our faults, that’s all we see. For many years I criticized myself in ways that were extremely toxic. The result was I started to not care about myself. I saw myself as worthless. That is a horrible pattern to get into. When we release ourselves from the chains of perfection, that’s when we really start to grow and create ourselves. Let yourself try things. Find out what makes you passionate. We are not created to work and die. We can make an impact on this world and help others through our actions.
