Gratitude Monday….

I am grateful for all the little miracles and angels that come in the form of other human beings. There are more good people in this world than bad. What amazes me is God’s messages to me that come through others at the weirdest times and situations. We all meet people everyday and cross paths with others. Then all of a sudden, which seems to be for us, we are taught from that person’s experiences. We have teachers all over this planet. Good cannot survive in darkness. Light energy and positive vibes really do vibrate  on a higher level. If you gravitate with your mind towards light, that is what you will get. Do not stoop to the levels of those around you that thrive on negative. Negative tries to make positive negative. You may not realize it at first but then you slowly begin to feel icky to your core. Once you know something isn’t right, change it. You may have resistance, but you can change it. In the end of this life when you die, you will know it is just between you and God. What others have done to you in this life, will not matter in the next. What matters is how you handled it. Did you allow the negative to turn you negative?  There are all kinds of traps in this world, whether it be the tricks of a person, alcohol, drugs, food, sex, or whatever vice you realize is sucking the literal life out of your soul, know you are not alone. You may feel like it at times, but you are never alone. Don’t allow someone to isolate you because when you do allow it, you will understand that is how they can control you. Controlling and using someone for your own personal gain is not only destructive, but it is immoral. Forgive those who trespass against you. If they don’t accept it, that is not up to you. What is up to you is releasing yourself from that grievance. You tried to make amends and ask for forgiveness. Remember that forgiveness of another, is a choice. If you choose not to forgive them, it hurts your soul, not theirs. I really believe that God will treat us how we have treated others.  I believe everything boils down to intention. We cannot judge intention. It is God’s job to judge intention. As humans, we have the responsibility to let someone know when they are doing something wrong. We are not judging the person , we are judging the action. That is the major difference. Everyone preaches tolerance, but if you saw a car going down the wrong side of the freeway, would you not try to get their attention and let them know? If that person listens to your warning or doesn’t that is not up to you. As Christians, we have a greater responsibility to help others. We are not doing it for our own personal gain( if you are, that is between you and God later). We are helping our fellow children of God, because it is the right thing to do. I have gone down many freeways down the wrong side of the road metaphorically. Some of those warnings took me a little time to understand. I guess what I am trying to say is we all learn at our own pace but we really should try to listen to those who have been down those roads before.  Put your ego aside and try to really understand why the person took the time to help you.

God bless you,
